Navigatr & WorkSkills Kingston Receives Global Recognition for EdTech Innovation

Our partnership is the proud recipient of a Silver Learning Impact Award from the 1EdTech Consortium (1EdTech), the world-leading non-profit collaborative powering learner potential, for our use of AI Badge Assistant to create digital badges as part of the WorkSkills Kingston Programme to develop and recognise employability skills.

1EdTech’s annual Learning Impact Awards are conducted globally to recognise evidence-based breakthrough digital learning solutions, partnerships, and bold strategies implemented in an educational setting to power unlimited potential in every learner. The awards are judged on their impact on personalized learning, institutional performance, and the digital learning ecosystem.

About the Winning Project: Our Badge Assistant leverages AI to help individuals document and showcase their employability skills, providing tangible validation and recognition. The project, executed in partnership with WorkSkills Kingston, was implemented in just 12 weeks and achieved a remarkable 97% claim rate, significantly enhancing employability opportunities within the Kingston region.

"We congratulate all of this year’s winners who showcased projects that offer clear evidence of enhancing learning impact and outcomes and can inspire others."

Award winners are selected after presentations and interviews with educators from K-12 and higher education, and evaluations from Learning Impact conference attendees and the edtech community at large.
